We are committed to creating events that are unique and intentional for each clients specific vision, desires and budget. We provide a custom team of vendors and personal guidance to suit each individual client and then strive to exceed expectations upon delivery.
Our Event Process has been awarded many times over for its creativity, personalization and luxurious designs. Having lived in Hawaii for many years and understanding the islands, weather and culture in combination with our mainland experience, knowledge and expertise, Mauna Creative is set to be the perfect blend of style and process for an exceedingly beautiful and stress free wedding experience for our couples, their families and guests.
We bring deep passion to all that we do, pouring our expertise and genuine love of sharing experiences into our relationships and work.
After earning her Biology degree from the University of Colorado, Jennifer worked all around the world as a Marine Biologist with whales and dolphins, much of that in Hawaii. She produced large-scale conferences and events in the Marine Biology field before returning to Colorado to lead Gemini Events and found Mauna Creative.
And now, as both firm’s Owner/Creative Director, Jennifer funnels that passion and drive into exceptional Event Production for locals, destination couples, celebrities, politicians, actors, and international clients.
Many of these relationships extend beyond the event day and result in friendships and new memories. Jennifer is the Lead Planner and is present your entire wedding day, with experienced staff on site to assist and create.
Jennifer is the Director of Education for WIPA- Wedding Industry Professionals Association. This is the highest regarded association in the Event Industry and holds their Board Members to the highest standards. It is not allowed for any member to take a commission for any referrals, and this important pillar ensures her couples are getting the best suggestions for them individually based on their style, vision and goals.
As a collaborative firm, Gemini Events and Mauna Creative are the choice of many venues and have won the Knot "Best of" every year since 2016 and are in the Knot Hall of Fame.
